Hangar offers you 1000 m² of exhibition space. With 3 floors, your event can beintimate or grand, as you envision it. Hangar’s versatile spaces can accommodategroups up to 300 persons, depending on our exhibition’s scenography. Whether youhave a small team meeting or a large conference, we have the flexibility to cater toyour specific needs.

A Photo Art Center

The exhibitions at Hangar are organized in two seasons: autumn/winter, and spring. Each season offers one to two exhibitions, depending on the solo or group show programming. Hangar is dedicated to all forms and sensitivities of contemporary photography. No restrictions as to genres, territories, or modes of operation. The only thing that counts is the artist, what they have to say about our time, and the scenographic experience they offer to the visitor. Hangar focuses on emotion as much as on the understanding of the medium.

On top of that, Hangar hosts a commercial gallery in the glass-roof area, where five to six exhibitions

In the heart of Châtelain, Hangar benefits from a prime location on the newly renovated Place du Châtelain. With 735 m² of green space, 51 trees, interactive water jets, and a modular wooden deck, the square offers a welcoming and lively atmosphere. A more pedestrian-friendly design enhances its appeal, reinforcing Châtelain’s dynamic charm—an elegant, artsy, and cosmopolitan hub, perfect for exclusive corporate events.
